My story

[p]On Friday 7 September from 6:00 to 6:30 pm (early, so that you can come before you go home!), Edward Button (Countertenor, and trainee in Tax), Victoria Burmester (Soprano) and Sean Gibbons (Pianist, and Partner in MIT) will perform a recital in the 4th Floor Auditorium. There will be refreshments after the music. This will be Edward's last day at Stephenson Harwood since he is leaving the firm to sing as the Second Countertenor in The King's Singers. [/p][p]The programme is varied and will feature some well-known and much-loved solos and duets by Bach, Vivaldi, Pergolesi, Gershwin and even a song from Les Misérables![/p][p]The event is being held in aid of Stephenson Harwood's Charity of the Year, The Whitechapel Mission (www.whitechapel.org.uk/). The Whitechapel Mission has been serving the homeless and marginalised for 141 years; it includes a day centre, skills training and career advice, activity programmes and specialist support for complex needs. [/p][p]You can make a donation on the night, and if you are unable to come you can donate on this page. [/p][p]We look forward to seeing you there.[/p]
