Fun Run

[p]Hi Everyone!! We are a team of six girls wanting to go to El Salvador as part of the El Salvador Project here at Imperial College London, to construct infrastructure that will benefit indigent families that do not have the resources to meet their most basic needs. The El Salvador Project is working on designing the infrastructure required in collaboration with Engage for Development and REDES. This summer, the aim was to promote sanitation by constructing latrines and water collection systems that are low cost, easy to maintain and utilise local resources. However, wanting to make more of an impact, we decided to postpone the trip to next summer and hopefully raise more money with your help to target a larger group of people, pay for construction materials, food and accommodation for the whole team. [/p][p]For this, we decided to organise a Fun Run, where all the team will be running through Hyde park, Green Park, St James's Park and along the Thames back to Imperial College, for a total of 15 kilometres. [/p][p]This run will take place in late September, so until then, please do not hesitate to donate even the smallest amounts (every little really does help) and to share this page with friends and family![/p][p]You can also get a sneak peek of what the 2016 team got up to during their expedition in the pictures below :)[/p]
