London Marathon

[p]Breast cancer is one of the most prevalent cancers in the UK, and affects thousands of people's lives every day. Seeing both the physical and emotional effects it can have on lives through the diagnosis of friends and family has given me the incentive to raise money for Breast Cancer Now. I am also lucky enough to work alongside many people in the cancer research field, with the goal of reducing mortality in invasive breast cancer patients.[/p][p]Breast Cancer Now is a charity that supports this research work, but also plays a key role in the patient support network. All of the staff and volunteers provide information and care to anyone who has to go through this journey, and the charity continually works alongside hospitals, campaigning to improve all the services available. [/p][p]On the 26th April I am running the London Marathon in support of this work, it is the first one I have done and it will probably be the hardest thing I ever do!
