My story

[p]When my sister Lucy was two she was diagnosed with retinoblastoma, a rare form of cancer that attacks the retina. RB is is almost exclusively found in young children. Though most children survive this cancer, they may lose their vision or need to have the eye removed. Lucy lost her eye quickly after the original diagnosis and she has continued to have procedures since. [/p][p]Throughout my life running has been very important, going from being stressful cross-country competitions in my teens to my main way of relieving stress and keeping fit in my early twenties. Completing a marathon has been a goal for me for a long time and I am excited to be able to do it while raising money for the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust. [/p][p][br][/p]
