My story

[p][br][/p][p]We’ve decided to challenge ourselves to try and raise money for two charities close to a lot of people’s hearts. [/p][p]The challenge we are attempting is to successfully climb (inc travel) the three biggest mountains in the United Kingdom within 24 hours. [/p][p]1) Ben Nevis [/p][p]2) Scafell Pike [/p][p]3) Snowdon [/p][p]Initially we planned to raise money for the Walton Centre as we try to do each year. However, with the current COVID-19 pandemic, we feel we might be able to make a difference and support those who are risking their lives each and everyday. Therefore, all donations will be split between both The Walton Centre (Home from Home) and the NHS together. [/p][p][br][/p][p]We would be so grateful if everybody could pass the message on to friends and family to raise awareness of the 24 HOURS 3-PEAK challenge and what we are trying to achieve.[/p][p][br][/p][p]We appreciate the financial difficulties some people are in. So please don’t feel you need to donate (a cheer and some encouraging words is enough for us) but if you are able to contribute anything it would be AMAZING for these wonderful charities. [/p][p][br][/p][p]**WALTON HOSPITAL & NHS TOGETHER**[/p][p][br][/p][p]Leah was tragically taken away from us when she was just 19 years old. We will always remember her beauty, humour, wit and immense compassion. She loved life and lived it to the full. Her friends and family meant the world to her as she meant the world to them. [/p][p]If Leah would have come through this tragedy then the rehabilitation and support needed would have been long and costly, so we are showing our support for the Walton Centre Home from Home Appeal which provides accomodation for those in who's loved ones are being treated to enable them to be close by.[/p][p][br][/p][p]This immense challenge is being organised by her close friends, so please support and encourage if you can.[/p]
