MRSDE Everest Challenge

[p][b]We have completed our Challenge to walk to Everest Climb it and walk Back. Thanks everyone for your support .[/b][/p][p]A tenacious team in trainers and wellies are running, walking, cycling or crawling to complete a 'from the front door' (within relevant government exercise guidelines) Everest Challenge. Between them they intend to cover the distance from the UK to Everest (4631 miles or 7453 km), you never know if it goes well we might even make it back to the UK.[/p][p]We are all volunteers, dog handlers, bodies and family to support Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England. Dogs and handlers saving lives.[/p][p]Whilst our activities in the outdoors are temporarily limited we the Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England are still working hard operationally and to train to save lives. We rely on public donations entirely which due to the current climate has understandably changed. We are having to think of non traditional methods to generate the funds required to continue to train these life saving dogs and handlers. [/p][p]28 enthusiastic runner and non-runner folk alike are dusting off their trainers and adjusting their buffs to clock up the distance from their own front doors, it will probably take them collectively 3 months to complete their challenge.
