Team story

[p][span=color: #ff00ff;]In August [/span]we are doing the Color Run this is a fun and exciting event and we are trying to raise money for two charities close to our hearts Cure Leukaemia and Teenage Cancer Trust.[/p][p]In December 2013 my family's life was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML)a cancer of the white blood cells. I am now happy to say that I am in remission and this would not have been possible without the two charities we have chosen to fundraise for.[/p][p][lt]object width="136" height="143" data="http://www.youtube.com/v/8uiRxv-wm9Q" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"[gt][lt]param name="data" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/8uiRxv-wm9Q" /[gt][lt]param name="quality" value="high" /[gt][lt]param name="wmode" value="transparent" /[gt][lt]param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/8uiRxv-wm9Q" /[gt][lt]/object[gt][/p][p][span=color: #ff0000;] Cure Leukaemia [/span]is a local charity whose aim is to raise £10 million towards vital research for pioneering drugs without which I and many others would not have survived . More Funds = More Nurses = More Lives Saved. http://www.cureleukaemia.co.uk/ [/p][p][span=color: #0000ff;]Teenage Cancer Trust [/span]is a UK based charity that provides specialist care to teenagers providing them with specalist units that are differnt from a normal evryday ward , it allows them to develop friendships with other teenagers who are a similar age and are sharing the same cancer experience. www.teenagecancertrust.org  [/p][p]I am also doing this run to remember all the special friends I have lost during my cancer battle especially my good friend Pagan who's memory will continue to live on . [/p][p]Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities so please dig deep and help support this great cause. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p]
