Team story

[lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt]#footballfightingebola[/p][p]Football Fighting Ebola is an intiative founded by Godfrey K Torto (Ask Godders Group) and Carlton Cole (West Ham FC and England) in the wake of the Ebola crisis.[/p][p]Ebola is a relentless virus that has devastated Sierra Leone and its neighbouring countries causing tens of thousands of deaths in a relatively short time. Communities have been destroyed, left in isolation and in the grip of fear. Internationally the World is on alert in an attempt to contain its spread.[/p][p]Carlton Cole has Sierra Leone deep in his heart as it is the homeland of his mother Selina Cole together they founded 'Carlakka' an initiative aimed at rebuilding their beloved country and supporting its most vulnerable citizens. With that in mind Godfrey and Carlton came together and FOOTBALL FIGHTING EBOLA was born.[/p][p]Now with the upcoming event and online campaign their hope is that the football community of players, fans and supporters will come together in standing against this disease. Raising enough money to support the work of King's Sierra Leone Partnership and the Carlakka foundation.[/p][p]Please visit www.kslp.org.uk for more details on the fantastic work the medics and volunteers from King's College London are doing in Sierra Leone.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p] Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p]
