[p]Hi I’m Annalisa and I’m definitely not a runner![/p][p][br][/p][p]I was lucky enough to meet Katie approximately 7 years ago. She is an inspirational woman and I have been happy to support her charity over those years.I recently heard that Aaron wanted to go to University and Katie started to fund raise to support him. I have been lucky in my life, with easy access to higher education and sometimes taking that for granted. Therefore, knowing that someone would not have access to it, alway upset me. Therefore I have decided to set up a personal challenge hoping to raise money to help Aaron. I am planning to run a total of 50 k in January I honestly don’t enjoy running, I never run in my life...not even to catch a train. That’s why this is a real challenge for me and I hope you will support me by donating.[/p][p][br][/p][p]Annalisa has been both a personal friend and a supporter/donor of the charity for more than 7 years. Annalisa has followed the story of our foster boys from their early days of being fostered to now, as some of them are growing into young adults. We are so happy that Annalisa would like to support Malawi Foster Care in helping one of the first boys we fostered succeed at University, enabling him to become a social worker and give back. Please support Annalisa in her challenge as she supports Aaron!Katie Bushell (MFC Founder) [/p][p][br][/p][p]Aaron’s Story[/p][p]It was a Monday morning, I was 10 years old and living in a village with my Uncle. I helped my Uncle with farming. I didn’t go to school because I had no-one to pay for the school uniform. I had to work to eat. Life was not great then. The village head-man came to my Uncle’s home and said that a lady called Martha had come to our village and could offer a home, food and an education to orphans who wanted it. I did want it. I went with her on that day. In the beginning it was not easy to go back to school, I used to abscond as I was not used to it. But Martha showed me kindness and patience and kept bringing me back. My foster family showed me love and over time taught me to understood the importance of education and now I have got a place in University studying social work. My dream is to become a social worker so that I can go on to help others. Thank you for all the help you have given me and God Bless anyone who is able to support me.[/p][p]RUNS UPDATES: [/p][p]1st Run: 5.6 Km[/p][p]2nd Run: 5 79 km[/p][p]3rd Run: 6.66 km[/p][p]4th run: 5.99 km[/p][p]5th run: 6.93 km[/p][p]6th run: 4.09 km[/p][p]7th run: 4.79 km[/p][p]8th run: 5,06 km[/p][p]9th run : 6.23 km[/p][p]10th rum: 4.79 km[/p][p]11th run: 4.75 km[/p][p]12th run: 5.20 km[/p][p]Total: 65.82 km so far... :)[/p][p][br][/p]
