My story

[p]Rosie Schumm and Michael Armstrong are taking part in the Swim Serpentine on 21 September and swimming 1 mile to raise money for Forsters LLP's new partner charity, St Andrew's Club.[/p][p]It can be tough for a young person growing up in South Westminster, and around 700 members depend on St Andrew’s Club each year and its ‘neutral’ environment, that isn’t part of any one housing estate. St Andrew's Club give local young people, many of them on tight family budgets, the chance to thrive and give back to society through the Club’s varied youth programmes, which help them develop educationally, socially and personally through a wide range of sport, art, practical skills, trips out and training. St Andrew's Club is a local charity and the world’s oldest youth club, which has been making a priceless contribution to the local community for over 150 years.[/p][p]Help them reach their target of raising £1000 for the Club. Each £500 will help pay for one young person, aged 5-adult, to benefit from a year's membership at the Club, enabling them to learn vital skills and experience opportunities to build a positive sense of citizenship.[/p][p]Any donations will be greatly appreciated.[/p][p]Thank you![/p]
