My story
[p]GEORG’S BIG VIRTUAL CANCER CYCLE[/p][p][br][/p][p]Hi everyone. It’s Georg.[/p][p]At the age of 4, I was diagnosed with Leukaemia. After 3.5 years of treatment, I got to ring the end of treatment bell.[/p][p]May 2020 is my 1st bell-ringing birthday/anniversary and to celebrate, I will be virtually cycling 260 kilometres for the 2.6 Challenge.[/p][p]I can’t actually ride a bike yet but have been given a bicycle by the children’s cancer charity “Cyclists Fighting Cancer.”[/p][p]I will be doing this on an exercise bike to strengthen my legs and practice for learning to ride a bike properly. If I get too exhausted Or it gets too painful, my family are going to cycle some of the miles for me. [/p][p]I will be ‘virtually’ cycling around between the hospitals and cancer charities that have helped me.[/p][p]It is really important because the London Marathon has not happened and Lots of charities need money to help people.[/p][p]Please help if you can. [/p][p]Your donations will help children like me who get diagnosed with cancer.[/p][p]Thank you. [/p][p]Love Georg. X[/p][p] [/p][p]SUNDAY 24TH MAY[/p][p]Hi again. Today is my ‘official’ last day of treatment anniversary. I am going to start the challenge by braving the shave. Mummy and Daddy say it will make me more “aerodynamic” on the exercise bike. My little brother and Daddy are joining in too. X[/p][vmgvideo class="ql-video" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="true" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/G57jWDhNf7A?showinfo=0&rel=0&iv_load_policy=3"][/vmgvideo][p][br][/p][p][br][/p][p][br][/p][p][br][/p][p][br][/p][p][br][/p][p][br][/p][p][br][/p][p][br][/p][p][br][/p][p][br][/p][p][br][/p][p]HI EVERYBODY[/p][p]Here are some photos of the mini-bike that I have been using. And it takes a really long time to pedal to one kilometre. I’m hoping to get a proper exercise bike soon love Georg[/p][p]Mummy and Daddy will post an update soon. X[/p][p][br][/p][p]HI EVERYONE! [/p][p]It’s a sunny Sunday AND I have still been doing my cycling challenge![/p][p]My Daddy has done an animation of me cycling to all the locations of the charities we are raising money for. Please help if you can. Thank you.[/p][p][/p][p][br][/p]
