My story

[p]I started running around 5 years ago, as a way to keep fit while travelling. I am now challenging myself to run two marathons a year, aiming to run 25 by the time I turn 60. I will be running the London Marathon in April 2020, with a specific goal of raising funds for the National Autistic Society. [/p][p]Autism is something I live with every day. My youngest daughter has autism. At age 14, she cannot read or write, and cannot get through a day independently. She deals daily with social anxiety, and will struggle to ever live independently. Yet, she is happy, verbal, expressive, funny and loving. We're the lucky ones - so many families deal with much more difficult issues related to Autism. I want to raise £5,000 to support the work NAS does in this space, and bring much needed hope and support to people who deal with autism.[/p][p]Please help me make a difference.[/p][p]#runningforrebecca #runningforautism #teamautism[/p]

Hi Graeme, we met at an event of Office Depot in Barcelona in 2016. My wife is dealing with mental health and has been actively "working" on it most of her life and made her profession of it. And I ran marathons! Wishing you and your family all the best!
