My story
[p]My name is Grant Carnachan and Im a fire fighter currently serving at Pollok fire station. I have set myself the crazy challenge of running the Glasgow half marathon wearing my full fire fighting kit and breathing apparatus all for a good cause. I've chosen to do this for two charities close to my heart. The fire fighters charity and the Scottish SPCA Cardonald cat and dog home which is in my local area. Everyone who knows me, kn[span=font-size: 10px;]ows I have a soft spot for animals, so these were obvious choices. Ive always wanted to run a half marathon and raise money for charity so thought why not combine the two. Please help in anyway you can, every little counts and it's all going to two great causes. I have set a £500 limit but if i can smash that then thst would be amazing. Thanks for all your support and help it means alot.
