My story
[p][span=color: #4b4f56; font-size: 12px; line-height: 15.36px; white-space: pre-wrap;]Hi all, thank you very much for visiting my page. I shall be taking part in my first triathlon (of sorts) in September - 105 miles and almost 11000 vertical feet of pure fun from Nairn to Glen Coe involving a mix of running, cycling, running, kayaking, off road cycling, more cycling, an off-road half marathon....and just a bit more kayaking to round it off. And I'm sure the Scottish weather and midges will only add to the experience. Do check out the event if you're interested to see what I've got to do - Rat Race Coast to Coast.[/span][lt]br style="color: #4b4f56; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 15.36px; white-space: pre-wrap; background-color: #e0edff;" /[gt][lt]br style="color: #4b4f56; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 15.36px; white-space: pre-wrap; background-color: #e0edff;" /[gt][span=color: #4b4f56; font-size: 12px; line-height: 15.36px; white-space: pre-wrap;]I suspect this is going to hurt. I won't be going for speed....just aiming not to cry, break anything or swallow too many midges. [/span][lt]br style="color: #4b4f56; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 15.36px; white-space: pre-wrap; background-color: #e0edff;" /[gt][lt]br style="color: #4b4f56; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 15.36px; white-space: pre-wrap; background-color: #e0edff;" /[gt][span=color: #4b4f56; font-size: 12px; line-height: 15.36px; white-space: pre-wrap;]And of course to raise some money for a very excellent cause. This cause is Thomas' Fund - a specific campaign of the Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group set up by friends of mine in memory of their son Thomas who passed away in November last year aged 4. Please have a read of the campaign page for more information.[/span][lt]br style="color: #4b4f56; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 15.36px; white-space: pre-wrap; background-color: #e0edff;" /[gt][lt]br style="color: #4b4f56; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 15.36px; white-space: pre-wrap; background-color: #e0edff;" /[gt][span=color: #4b4f56; font-size: 12px; line-height: 15.36px; white-space: pre-wrap;]Brain tumours kill more children than any other cancer and yet receive less than 1% of the UK national spend on cancer research. Conventional therapies for brain tumours have limited efficacy over several decades with consistently poor survival rates and severe side effects. So please please donate to help fund more vital research.[/span][lt]br style="color: #4b4f56; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 15.36px; white-space: pre-wrap; background-color: #e0edff;" /[gt][lt]br style="color: #4b4f56; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 15.36px; white-space: pre-wrap; background-color: #e0edff;" /[gt][span=color: #4b4f56; font-size: 12px; line-height: 15.36px; white-space: pre-wrap;]All donations and support are very gratefully received![/span][lt]/span[gt][/p] [p][span=color: #4b4f56; font-size: 12px; line-height: 15.36px; white-space: pre-wrap;](Please note, I decided to upgrade bike and kit from photo shown!)[/span][lt]/span[gt][/p]
