We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.</p> <p>On the&nbsp;<strong>19th of April 2012</strong>&nbsp;Ashley Davis, Phil 'Polly' Perkins and I, will be starting the first leg of a&nbsp;<strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">124 mile</span></strong>&nbsp;run from St Peters Hospice Bristol, to the start of the 2012 Virgin London Marathon. This will not only be my first Marathon but also first ultra marathon in one.</p> <p>We are running in the memory of my dad Stephen Davis who lost his battle with cancer on the 23rd of April this year. Our run and with your support will go towards helping other families with relatives experiencing life limiting disease and incurable cancer receive specialised free of charge care at home and in the hospice. It will also help the families and children receive bereavement support once their loved one has gone.</p> <p>The staff and volunteers at St Peter's went the extra mile every day for my dad and family and now we shall go a few extra for them. &nbsp;</p> <p>Any donation can help,</p> <p><strong>&pound;5</strong>&nbsp;Can buy two sets of syringe drivers to provide continuous medication</p> <p><strong>&pound;10&nbsp;</strong>will buy work books to support a child through bereavement</p> <p><strong>&pound;20</strong>&nbsp;Will buy a memory box to help a family through bereavement</p> <p><strong>&pound;100&nbsp;</strong>Will enable a patient to attend the day hospice</p> <p><strong>&pound;5,000&nbsp;</strong>Will Help a clinical nurse specialist make up to 50 home visits to patients and their families in their own homes</p> <p><strong>&pound;50,000&nbsp;</strong>would enable 28 patients to receive hospice at home nursing care and allow them to end their lives in their own home</p> <p>I appreciate every penny you give and your donations are my motivation to run for i know and have seen first hand the excellent work they do.&nbsp;</p> <p>Thank you</p> <p>Jon &amp; Team Happy Feet 2012</p>
