My story

[p]Some of you may remember that last year in a moment of madness, I decided it would be a great idea to jump out of a plane at 12,000 feet attached to a complete stranger. Not content with that, in yet another (even bigger) moment of madness, I decided it would be a good idea to agree to run a marathon... For those of you who know me, you will know the concept of exercise (and running especially) is not one that I'm familiar with, so I'm certain that the 26.2 mile journey, and all the training beforehand will be the toughest physical challenge I'll ever face! [/p][p]You might be wondering why on earth anyone would agree to this, but there is a very good reason! I'm fundraising for the Road Victims Trust, an amazing charity who provide invaluable emotional and practical support for those affected by death or life changing injuries as a result of road collisions. Victims can include bereaved individuals or families, and those involved in a collision or who witnessed it. [/p][p]Without donations and fundraising events like this, the Road Victims Trust would be unable to support and guide victims along their journey, making their lives, at such a difficult time, even harder. [/p][p]So please give as much as you can to this amazing charity - every penny will spur me on through all the cold and rainy, early morning training sessions, and the actual marathon itself! 20 is the magic number. Marathon is 26.2 miles, so that means that if you chase a sharebox you can have a chicken nugget once every 1.31 miles. I reckon that is more than achievable.
