My story

[p][br][/p][p]I will be going to Rwanda on the 23rd February 2018.[/p][p][br][/p][p][br][/p][p]Hi, thanks for visiting my page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p][p][br][/p][p]Hi everyone, I'm away to Africa in February for 2 weeks with a fantastic charity called Cricket without Boundaries.[/p][p]As you may know i'm cricket mad and enjoy helping others through different charities. I do not know which part of Africa I will be visiting as the teams of volunteers have not been finalised into groups yet, however as soon as i know I will update this page.[/p][p]I am required to raise a minimum of £975 which goes directly to CWB to cover the cost of cricket kit and health education equipment (this stays in the country once we leave), all accomodation and Travel for 2 weeks and to support local ambassadors in the countries to continue the work when we are not there.[/p][p] [/p][p]I shall be covering the cost of my flights and food myself.[/p][p]Cricket Without Boundaries (CWB) is a UK registered charity (number 1154576) that uses cricket as a vehicle for delivering health and social messages in sub-Saharan Africa. It is run almost entirely by the dedication and enthusiasm of its volunteers.[/p][p] [/p][p]Since its formation in 2005 CWB has become one of the world's leading Cricket Development charities. It is dedicated to helping, educating and developing local communities around the world through the spread and growth of cricket.[/p][p] [/p][p]CWB has three main goals:[/p][p] [/p][p]To spread cricket through coaching children and teaching adults how to coach; and[/p][p] [/p][p]To link the sport to health and social messages and incorporate these messages into coaching sessions.[/p][p] [/p][p]To bring together and empower local communities through cricket.[/p][p][br][/p][p]Over the next coming months i will be organising some fundrasing events which i will post on social media for details.[/p][p]Any donation, no matter how small will help make a difference.[/p][p]Thank you so much for your time.[/p][p][br][/p][p]http://www.cricketwithoutboundaries.com/[/p][p][br][/p][p]Sarah :)[/p][p] [/p][p][br][/p]
