This huge effort is part of the Burrough-on-the-Hill-based business&rsquo; charity activities this year - all in aid of The Prostate Cancer Charity.&nbsp;</div> <div id="_mcePaste" style="position: absolute; left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow-x: hidden; overflow-y: hidden;">The team managed to complete the challenge of climbing Ben Nevis Scafell Pike and Mount Snowdon with just 12 minutes to spare &ndash; in 23 hours and 48 minutes! This is no mean feat, when you consider they were travelling in a minibus that had a maximum speed of 62mph, plus faced bridge closures and major road diversions that caused significant delays and threatened the success of the challenge!</div> <div id="_mcePaste" style="position: absolute; left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow-x: hidden; overflow-y: hidden;">The team consisted of Howzat Travel&rsquo;s Ian Kerr and Steve Eatherington, local folk Mark Walker, Chris O&rsquo;Dare, Dave Lee, Rob Jinks, Rick Clarke, Mark Gray, Regina Giehl, Kegworth&rsquo;s Carl Sutton and Benjamin Woolnough from London. Ian and Mark&rsquo;s fathers John Kerr and Norman Walker ably supported the team, driving the minibus all over the UK.</div> <div id="_mcePaste" style="position: absolute; left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow-x: hidden; overflow-y: hidden;">There were muscle strains, bad knees and even some sickness &ndash; but with grit, determination, perseverance &ndash; plus deep heat spray and ibuprofen &ndash; it was all worthwhile, with the team calculating it has already raised somewhere in the region of &pound;5,000 for The Prostate Cancer Charity. The key stats: 11 walkers. 2 drivers. 25 miles walked. 460 miles driven (not counting getting there and back). 11,168 feet climbed (and descended!). 23 hours and 48 minutes taken.&nbsp;</div> <div id="_mcePaste" style="position: absolute; left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow-x: hidden; overflow-y: hidden;">Over &pound;5,000 was raised for The Prostate Cancer Charity!</div> <div id="_mcePaste" style="position: absolute; left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow-x: hidden; overflow-y: hidden;">Team member Steve Eatherington said: &ldquo;I know I can speak on behalf of everyone when I say that this has been one of the challenging &ndash; yet rewarding &ndash; experiences of our lives.
