My story

[p]On the 29th September I am running the Berlin Marathon for the wonderful Cameron Bespolka Trust. The charity was set up in memory of Cameron, a dear son and friend to so many, who died tragically in an accident when he was just 16. [/p][p]Cameron loved nature. He photographed it, blogged about it, surveyed it and immersed himself in it. Bird-watching was a major part of his life. The Trust is proud to partner with a wide range of organisations who are actively involved in protecting and promoting the natural world. These partnerships are important in ensuring that the work they do is relevant and valuable. [/p][p]The Cameron Bespolka Trust pledges to renovate Cameron's Cottage which will be a place where young people can stay and experience the outdoors first hand in the heart of the RSPB Reserve in the New Forest and are hoping to raise additional funds to complete the project. [/p][p]This is my third marathon, and my first since turning fifty a while ago and I'm certainly feeling it when I'm out training, yet the effort and the pain is definitely worth it for this wonderful cause.
