Team story

[p]In a Peakle is a team of 6 consisting of 4 'mountaineers' (I use that term very loosely) and 2 drivers who are taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge on 22nd July. [/p][p]The National Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland, within 24 hours.[/p][p]Mountaineers -[lt]br /[gt]Adam Bezance[lt]br /[gt]Ben Beach[lt]br /[gt]Erik Gibbons[lt]br /[gt]Kayleigh Gibbons[/p][p]Support team - [lt]br /[gt]Karin Gibbons[lt]br /[gt]Steven Gibbons[/p][p]Training wise the 'Mountaineers' have conquered the Yorkshire 3 peaks in a time of 9 hrs 40. [/p][p]The Charity we've chosen is Teenage Cancer Trust because Cancer sucks and young people shouldn't face it alone. Teenage Cancer Trusts makes sure they don't.[/p][p]£30 could pay for an hour of care from a Teenage Cancer Trust nurse, who knows what cancer really means to young people and can provide thoughtful, sensitive, expert support.[/p][p]£100 could buy a round of pizzas for everyone on the unit, so everyone can grab a slice, feel less isolated and be there for each other.[/p][p]£420 could pay for a school session so young people and their families know the signs of cancer and feel confident to seek help if they need it.[/p][p]Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p]
