My story

[p]UPDATE: The race has now been and gone, there is still time to sponsor knowing that i've not pulled out! The 10 mile race was actually just under 14 miles including some 41 obstacles varying from the insane to the mildly unfriendly. All in all this was a fantastic day and i am really looking forward to my next obstacle race in May. I was one of 350 finishers at this distance and came in at 71st with a time of just over 4 hours. [/p][p][/p][p]Massive THANK YOU to all of you who have sponsored me![/p][p][/p][p]Once again I have signed up for something stupid! This time it is not my first half marathon or a 5k Santa Fun Run, but this is to take part in a 10 mile Obsticle Race. This is the first such race I will have taken part in but I'm already signed up for another in May (watch this space). This race takes place at Rockingham castle and there is a kids option, 5km, 10km or 10 miles, as mentioned i signed up for the full 10 miles. [/p][p]All donations are in support of the Rutland Osprey project to make a difference on the groun in The Gambia. We hope to have regular updates from the project of how this money is being spent and you can see this by clicking here. [/p][p]If you want to see what this is all about or if you would like to join me then click here.[/p][p][/p][p]Hi, thanks for visiting my page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p]
