Tower to Tower 2018

[p]Please donate and support me in undertaking this colossal physical challenge to raise money for The Donna Louise Trust, an amazing charity that 'makes every moment count' for children and young people with severe life limiting conditions. [/p][p]During the last century, over three decades ago, I was an international long-distance runner and competed at World, European and Commonwealth level finishing 8th in the London Marathon and 7th in the Commonwealth Games marathon. Three decades is a VERY long time ago....[/p][p]30 years later, I run a couple of times a week, occasionally cycle, and have completed a couple of trekking holidays. However, in recent months I have done very little exercise... spending too much time sitting at a desk. What better way to motivate myself to get fit than to agree to join a team taking part in a gruelling four-day challenge - cycling 170 miles (18 hours) from Paris to Le Havre, rowing for 40 hours across the channel to Brighton and then walking 100km to London. How difficult can it be?!!! [/p][p][b]Why am I doing this [/b].... because The Donna Louise Trust, a hospice for Children and Young People 'makes every moment count'. The least I can do is make every moment of the challenge count by raising money for this amazing organisation.
