[p]There's no two ways about it, having Parkinson's is absolutely devastating. [/p][p]It's a brain condition which has horrible physical and mental impacts. [/p][p]Cath's husband Dave has been living with Parkinson's for ten years now, so we've seen first hand just how difficult and debilitating this condition can be. And everything has become so much more difficult since the start of the Coronavirus Pandemic.[/p][p]We're going to do everything in our power to raise £8,000 for Parkinson's UK, so that they can continue to provide ongoing support for Dave and people like him, but also so they continue to fund research in order to find a cure for this dreadful disease. [/p][p]Diane and Kate are going to run the London Marathon in 2021, but in the meantime, through "It's Grim Up North Running", we are going to organise lots of fun running events, both real and virtual, so that you can have fun and help us to raise money for this fantastic cause.
