My story

[p]Thank you very much for participating in the Property Weekend Challenge. If you took part, we really hope you enjoyed it![/p][p]By donating on this page, you’re helping to raise valuable funds for two amazing charities: Crisis and LandAid.[/p][p]During the pandemic, these charities have had to adapt their services quickly. Read more about some of the fantastic work they've been doing below.[/p][p]You can play your part by donating at least £10 per adult (18 years and over) to join in. It’s simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, the money will be split equally between the charities. You can also donate even if you did not take part in the challenge.[/p][p]Thank you from all of us at JLL, and from our partners at Crisis and LandAid.[/p][p]Crisis [/p][p]Crisis works directly with thousands of homeless people every year, providing vital help so that people can rebuild their lives and are supported out of homelessness for good. Offering one-to-one support, advice and courses for homeless people in 12 areas across England, Scotland and Wales, their help depends on individual needs and situation. It could be with finding a home and settling in, getting new skills and finding a job, or help with individuals’ health and wellbeing. Together with homeless people and Crisis supporters, Crisis campaigns for the changes needed to end homelessness for good. [/p][p]LandAid [/p][p]The LandAid Emergency Fund aims to raise over £1m to help those who are young and homeless, as well as the extraordinary frontline charities that are supporting these young people through the pandemic. The impact of Covid-19 is being felt even more acutely by homelessness charities and the vulnerable young people they support. Homeless shelters are experiencing new unprecedented challenges and overwhelming demand as many young people are finding themselves without a home, leading to an all too real threat of rough sleeping.[/p]
