My story

[p]Apologies if over the last few years I've hounded you for your support, but for the 3rd time I'll be taking on the formidable task, along with a few brave colleagues and friends, to Cycle from London to Paris in just 24 hours![/p][p]You may be asking yourself the question as to why I’m putting myself through such a daunting task again, especially at my age (I’m sadly no spring chicken). Well, let me tell you it’s not for the fun of it! It’s all about raising money for an amazing charity called Duchenne UK.[/p][p]Duchenne UK is a heart-breaking and crippling disease and is the most common genetic killer of children and most of the boys with it won’t live past their twenties. Living with this disease causes their muscles to deteriorate in their younger years of life, with life expectancy of these brave boys becoming extremely short. I know that every penny we raise will massively assist them in reaching their goal of finding a cure for this disease within the next 7 years.[/p][p]https://www.duchenneuk.org/duchenne-uk-charity-film[/p][p]Your generosity would be greatly appreciated, so please click onto the link below and donate as much or as little as you can and support this amazing cause to help Duchenne UK to reach their goal in finding a cure[/p][p]Huge thanks for your support.[/p][p]Kind regards,[/p]
