Thank you for reading about my journey.[/sub][/p][p][sub]I am raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support this year. Last year two friends were diagnosed with separate forms of cancer,  I am doing a series of events to raise as much funds as possible for a worthwhile cause. So here goes………..[/sub][/p][lt]/span[gt][lt]/span[gt][span=font-size: large; color: #800080;][lt]span style="font-size: large; color: #800080;"[gt][p][sub]March - Grizzly - A coastal/beach run over 20 miles along the Jurassic Coast. Rated as one of the hardest races of its kind in Europe. [lt]span style="background-color: #ffff00;"[gt]I completed this in 4 hours 10 minutes.[/span][/sub][/p][p] [/p][p][sub]August - RideLondon100 - 100 mile bike ride starting at The Mall in London on closed roads following the Olympic road race route with a cheeky climb up Box Hill. [span=background-color: #ffff00;]I completed this with my wife Wendy who had never ridden 100 miles before in 7 hours 50 minutes![/span][/sub][/p][lt]/span[gt][lt]/span[gt][span=font-size: large; color: #ff00ff;][lt]span style="font-size: large; color: #ff00ff;"[gt][sub]July - Outlaw- Ironman race in Nottingham consisting of 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike ride and then a 26.2 mile run. I am hoping to do this in under 11 hours.  [lt]span style="background-color: #ffff00;"[gt]On one of the hottest days of the year I finished in 11 hours 17  minutes.  A very hard day at the office![/span][/sub][lt]/span[gt][lt]/span[gt][span=font-size: large; color: #800000;] [/span][span=font-size: large; color: #ff0000;][lt]span style="font-size: large; color: #ff0000;"[gt][p][sub]September - Double Brutal - Double Ironman race in Snowdonia of 4.8 mile swim in water temperatures of around 12 degrees, followed by 231 bike around the foothills of Snowdon, and then a double marathon with the first 9 miles of the run being a run to the summit of Snowdon. This is a continuous race and I will be on my feet for around 36-40 hours. (apart from the swim).[/sub][/p][/span][lt]/span[gt][span=font-size: large; color: #008000;][lt]span style="font-size: large; color: #008000;"[gt][p][sub][lt]span style="background-color: #ffff00;"[gt]Its been a hard years training, I have swam, cycled and ran thousands of miles.  Lost around 8-10kg in weight, lost 3 inches off my waist and feel the fittest I have ever been![/span][/sub][/p][p][sub][span=background-color: #ffff00;] [/span][/sub][/p][p][sub] [/sub][/p][p][sub]If you could spare a small donation it will make all the pain worthwhile.[/sub][/p][lt]/span[gt][lt]/span[gt][/b]Hi, thanks for visiting my page.
