100 walks to Mosteiro de Tibaes from my home

[p]The Mamie Martin Fund was set up in memory of my grandmother Mamie Martin, who was a passionate supporter of girls' education way back in the 1920s. The fund supports girls' education in Malawi by paying school fees to enable girls to continue their education at secondary level. 2021 marks 100 years since Jack and Mamie Martin got married and set off for a new life in Malawi.[/p][p]Find out more about the Mamie Martin Fund: [url=https://mamiemartin.org/]Home - Mamie Martin Fund[/url][/p][p]As part of our #pledge100 campaign to celebrate the 100th anniversary, I'm pledging to do 100 walks to the beautiful Mosteiro de Tibães (near Braga, Portugal) from my house. It's 5 kms and about 7,000 steps up hill and down dale. The challenge is not going to be the walk per se, but it's going to be finding the time to do that 100 times - but we all know that time is elastic! Hoping to be accompanied by my trusty hound, Kimba, but since she's now an old lady, there are no guarantees![/p]
