Matrix Trust

[p]My plan to walk the 50km Ultra Challenge Windsor event on Saturday 10th April 2021 has been cancelled for this year. I now aim to walk a circular local, 30mile hike from my home in Stoughton, walking some of the Downs Link as far as Cranleigh and a section of the North Downs Way. I will be walking on behalf of Matrix which is a Christian charity providing a lifeline for vulnerable young people across Guildford Borough. Now in their 20th year, Matrix are dedicated to working [b]with young people[/b], helping them to improve their lives, and [b]for young people[/b], catalysing change by nurturing, inspiring, connecting and empowering them.[/p][p]Every year Matrix serves 1000’s of young people in schools and their community, making a real difference to young people’s lives. Partnering with young people, local organisations, churches, schools, businesses and the community, Matrix helps young people make the most of their lives, enabling them to become active citizens in their communities. The pandemic has had a heavy toll on all of us but young people have suffered greatly. Matrix have inspirational ideas for this year to encourage well-being and self-esteem in these difficult days.[/p]
