My story

[p]Streets of London (registered charity number 1155242) funds specialist support for people who are homeless in London, and raises awareness about homelessness. The charity supports various schemes such as Employment Support, Life Skills for young homeless people and English Tuition.[/p][p] Nearly 9,000 people sleep rough on the streets of London every year. They come from every walk of life, and many of them want to find work. By and large, people don’t choose to be homeless - they find themselves sleeping on the street because they are facing a major crisis that means they’ve ended up with nowhere else to stay.[/p][p]Along with my friend Justine, we’ll be sleeping out under the stars to raise money to help homeless people. The money we raise will help to fund projects across the capital that give people the support they need to get off the streets for good.[/p]
