My story

Hi,

I want you to do something really unusual.

The Ron Pickering Memorial Fund is a really worthwhile cause - particularly in the run up to 2012.

Even though my marathon plans are in tatters please still make a donation through my site.

They were good enough to allocate me a non-transferrable place but I've just "enjoyed" a week's stay in the QE2 for major surgery.

So cheer me up - and cheer up the Fund - by sending in some donations please.

Thanks for visiting my page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to the Ron Pickering Memorial Funsd. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.

Keep in touch,

JIM

Member of Fairlands Valley Spartans (www.fvspartans.org.uk) and CTC (the UK's cyclists' organisation www.ctc.org.uk)
