My story

[p]Paul Covell (80) and John Baines (75) are departing on their latest adventure. They will paddle their canoe across the Pennines along the 127 mile Leeds / Liverpool Canal. They depart from the centre of Leeds on 1 September 2019 and intend to arrive in Liverpool Docks 12 days later.[/p][p]Both have a passion for the sea, water and adventure and will be raising funds for the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust. The Trust was begun by the famous sailor Dame Ellen MacArthur. The Trust helps young people rebuild their lives through sailing after the devastation of cancer.
