My story

[p]My Story - has suddenly become OUR STORY.[/p][p]That's both Vivienne and John to play Rugby at Altitude![/p][p]Thankyou for taking a look at what this challenge is all about. It means that we will be trekking to 6,600 mts to play rugby. The challenge will be tough - walking to altitude in itself means we will have to adapt to different oxygen levels to breathe, it will be tough to walk, tough to breath and very tough to maintain hand-eye co-ordination during the game! But we will do it, at least we will do our best, our intention is to achieve it. Because, after all we will only be faced with this challenge for 24 days - the children we will help are facing their own daily challenges. The money you donate to help raise funds will be life-changing for some children. Your support and donations will be sincerely appreciated.[/p][p]THE CHALLENGE: to raise money for the Wooden Spoon Charity by taking part in the LMAX Exchange Everest Rugby Challenge. This means we will be attempting to break a Guinness World Record; the goal being to play the highest game of rugby in history.[/p][p]THE CHARITY: Wooden Spoon is a children’s charity and the money raised will help to fund projects that support children and young people with disabilities and facing disadvantage across the UK and Ireland.[/p][p]OUR SPONSORS: The prime sponsor is LMAX Exchange, a global financial technology company[/p][p]OTHER generous sponsors are: [/p][p]AJN Steelstock, one of the largest steel stockholding companies in the UK[/p][p]PAULTONS PARK: Paultons Family Theme Park.
