[p]Hi, thanks for visiting our page. [/p][p]We made it to Everest Base Camp on 1st December! Many thanks for your sponsorship and suppport![/p][p]Harriet and John[/p][p]Harriet and I will be travelling to Nepal on 18th November and trekking to Everest Base Camp, returning to the UK on 7th December. We are supporting Kids at School in Nepal (KASIN) which was founded in 2005 as a small charity and is making a big difference to the lives of hundreds of Nepali children. Most teachers in remote schools have no formal training. KASIN works directly with schools, teachers and volunteers. All of its funds go directly into projects, improving school facilities, providing teacher training, learning materials etc[/p][p]Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p]
