Team story

[p]Hi, thanks for visiting our page. [/p][p]Jo and I are running the London Marathon (26.2 miles) to raise funds for the Alzheimers Society.  My dad suffered with Alzheimers and was eventually taken from us by this disease.  This disease slowly takes your loved ones from you, but first they have moments of frustration, bewilderment, then they fail to recognise you and their health fails.[/p][p]Unlike other life ending illnesses, there are no known cures.[/p][p]Alzheimers society support families and have a significant research team.[/p][p]Jo and I have been training for the marathon since last year.  Our longest training run so far has been 17 miles.  I have lost 10 kilos and we have shared countless blisters![/p][p]Please sponsor us through this link.  Your donations will be quickly processed if we succeed, reaching this great cause.   We really appreciate all your support and if you are in London on Sunday 13th April you can watch us battle against the miles.[/p][p][span=color: #ff0000;]For my dad[/span][/p][p]Jon - brilliantly supported by Jo (who I intend to beat - but apparently will not!)[/p]
