My story

[p]Cancer is unfortunately something that has affected many people I know and it's impact is far-reaching for so many more.[/p][p]Every day 12 families in the UK receive the devastating news that their child has cancer. Through funding vital specialist research, Children with Cancer UK has done everything in its power to give these children the best chance to survive. [/p][p]With your support Children with Cancer UK can fund over 60 research projects across the UK accelerating breakthroughs to help drive up childhood cancer survival rates and find kinder, more effective treatments to reduce long-term side effects. [/p][p]This ground breaking research saves children's lives and would otherwise go unfunded. [/p][p]Knowing treatment can be especially challenging for family life, Children with Cancer UK also helps fund patient family accommodation near hospitals so families can stay together during their children's treatment. [/p][p]They also organise unforgettable days out for children and their families to create memories that will never be lost. [/p][p]In 2020, myself and 24 others from atom42 and Iris will be running the London Marathon together, with the aim of raising £62,500 (and hopefully a lot more) to help ensure Children With Cancer can continue it's fantastic work. [/p][p]Every penny counts, and every penny is appreciated by us all.[/p][p]Thank you for helping to save the lives of children with cancer and keep families together.[/p]
