I'm running the London Marathon

[p]I only started running a couple of years ago. What started out as a bit of a hobby to lose some weight and get fit, now appears to have turned into securing a place in the London Marathon! An amazing opportunity which is (I'm not going to lie!) very scary but also very, very exciting. [/p][p]I'm running to raise money for an amazing charity that is very close to my heart - The Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre. A few years back, they diagnosed my daughter's dyslexia when she was 7. The diagnosis - and the help they've given us - has played such an important role in helping Emily understand that her struggles at school are for a reason and it has enabled us to get extra support for her. She works so hard at being the best she can be. Emily is my inspiration for running the Marathon - I'm so proud of her - she is so determined and never gives up - hopefully something I can live up to as well, as I run 26.2 miles in April![/p][p]There's no denying I'm going to need all the help I can get! I would be so grateful for any support you can give me - so that on the 28th April I can get across the finish line (hopefully) and say thank you not only to you, but also to The Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre for all the wonderful support they give to both children and parents/carers.
