My story

[p]No one is promised tomorrow. A lot of us wake up worrying about the future, when really, we might only have today! Always remember that.[/p][p]I learnt this 18 years ago when a dear close person in my life was taken away unexpectedly overnight from SADS (Sudden Adult Death Syndrome). The next day I was to due to start a new job at a local charity (4Sight Vision Support). In a twist of fate, it became much more than a new job. It was humbling place, where I met lifetime friends, witnessed resilience and determination by those who were living everyday with the challenge of sight loss, learnt a new profession, my dad became ' The Cheeseman', but most importantly, I realised my passion for, and the empowerment of, charity, helping people and gratitude of life.[/p][p]I've not really set this page up for your money, but it will help to save a life if you donate to CRY. They supported me greatly at my time of need through offering support groups, and who proactively screen hearts of young people, to prevent this happening to others. There's no price you can put on a life, so my target is £0. [/p][p]However; what I would love you to sponsor is :[/p][p]gratitude of your own life and others[/p][p]taking time to be kind and help someone who may be facing adversity[/p][p]This costs nothing.[/p][p]I am running London Marathon 2020. I will be grateful for every step I can take that day, and I would like to run this knowing that every step I take, is creating more gratitude, kindness and support to people who may be having a tough time - by you - through your pledge of sponsorship. [/p][p]No one is promised tomorrow. Be happy, live, laugh, love and always ...........be grateful. x[/p][p]Ps- This one's for you dad- #dadlovedpaula #dadsownpaula[/p][p][br][/p]
