My story

[p]Hi Everyone, [/p][p]As many of you may know, my 6 year old son Harry has a developmental language disorder. Research shows that in the UK, two children in every class of 30 have a developmental language disorder, which then can impact their ability to access the curriculum, build friendships and grow their self confidence. [/p][p]I’m running in the London Marathon this year to raise money and awareness of children with speech and language challenges for a charity called Afasic (Association for All Speech Impaired Children) which specialises in creating better services and provision for children and young people with speech and language impairments.[/p][p]I would really appreciate your support in helping me reach my donation target and I look forward to updating you on my training preparations and whether or not my knees make it round 26.2 miles in one piece on the day. [/p][p]Many thanks [/p][p]Justin.[/p]
