My story

[p]During the COVID-19 pandemic, many courts are continuing with priority cases such as domestic abuse and family cases. Support Through Court aims to reduce the disadvantage of people facing the civil and family justice system without a lawyer, and has been working hard to adjust our services to ensure we continue to support access to justice during this difficult time.[/p][p]I have decided to do what I can and take part in the 2.6 Challenge to help raise much needed funds during this period. Every day for 5 days (27th April - 1st May), I will be doing 26 exercises for 26 repetitions each (Exercises which alternate legs (e.g. lunges) will be done 26 times on each leg). My tired muscles would greatly appreciate any support you can provide. The current list is below HOWEVER....[/p][p][b]Donate £26 or more [/b]and not only will you be supporting one person facing court alone, you will also be able to pick an activity for me to do for 26 reps or 2.6 minutes (must be clean and legal). Leave a note in the comments telling me your selected activity and the existing one you want it to replace. Squat hold (2.6 minute hold) [/p][p][b]MORE ABOUT SUPPORT THROUGH COURT[/b][/p][p]Support Through Court believes that no one should face court alone and so works to provide immediate support to everyone who comes to help. Their trained volunteers provide emotional and practical support to clients throughout the court process. They ensure those facing court alone can represent themselves with dignity and support them to fully take part in court to better access justice. Support Through Court volunteers can have a direct impact on the outcome of a client's case and in consequence on the rest of their lives.[/p]
