SWFC Charity Cup 2020

[p]Thanks for taking the time out to visit my fundraising page.[/p][p]On 28th March I will be taking part in the SWFC Charity Cup to raise funds for St. Luke's Hospice and SWFCCP, walking out on the hallowed turf of my football team.[/p][p]St Luke's Hospice support and care for everyone affected by terminal illness in Sheffield, and look to improve the lives of their patients by providing high quality care, delivered with compassion and respect.[/p][p]All of the services they provide are without cost to patients and their families. They receive just 23% of funding from the NHS and of the £9.7 million it takes to deliver services each year, £7.2 million must come from donations.[/p][p]For the last 5/6 years I have tried to raise money for different charities by taking part in different events, including Total Warrior and numerous football matches for SUDEP and Weston Park Hospital. You may remember that I played in this Charity Cup back in 2018 before suffering a serious knee injury which kept me out of last years' event.[/p][p]I am aiming to smash the £450 target for this event and beat my last total of around £600/700 so any contributions no matter how small are greatly appreciated for these two very deserving charities.[/p][p]As an added incentive I will be playing against my brothers who are signed up to play for the away team, so bragging rights are at stake![/p][p]Thank you for your time![/p][p][br][/p]
