My story

[p]Many of you know next year I am about to embark on one of my toughest personal challenges yet - running the 2019 Virgin London Marathon for a local regional charity who are quite small but think and act BIG and make a HUGE difference to those they “touch” .. [/p][p]http://www.thelaughterspecialists.com/[/p][p]Laughter, happiness and fun are essential ingredients to our daily lives and overall mental health and well-being. Without them we can become depressed and prone to further illness.[/p][p]Wouldn’t it be great to be able to help children and adults who are sick or who have special needs by cheering them up with laughter and fun?[/p][p]The Laughter Specialists bring the unparalleled gift of laughter to those who are often unable to connect with those emotions. To see a child able to participate in a seemingly easy emotion for us is priceless. In that moment, where a child is able to smile, connect with a laughter specialist and laugh - they have no disabilities and are equal to all. [/p][p]The team at the Laughter Specialists work in the wards at a number of hospitals and centres across East Anglia bringing much needed entertainment and cheer to the children and their families and carers. [/p][p]Numerous medical studies have highlighted the enormous positive impact laugher has when people are suffering and in need.[/p][p]If I can help this regional charity in a small way by attempting my biggest fitness challenge yet by running the London marathon you can all help me in a big way by making a pledge to help make a difference to this charity. [/p][p]Fortunately with the support , love and motivation from my five wonderful children , family and friends and most of all my husband Jason who is my running partner in crime and after a four and a half year investment in his own health, well-being and fitness regime has managed to run two marathons and several half marathons in the last couple of years raising funds for great causes - including meningitis trust , sepsis uk and ms-uk , I decided in April 2018 if there was to be a year then 2019 would be my year! 🏃🏻?♀?[/p][p]Thank you so so much for anything you can spare 😊🙏💋[/p][p][br][/p]
