My story

[p]***UPDATE***[/p][p]Due to COVID19 the date of the skydive has now been postponed until further notice. It is important we stay home and save lives during this time. I will jump as soon as is reasonably possible and I hope you will continue to support the cause. Whilst there are worries about the corona virus and places across the globe are in lockdown or isolation etc. warriors continue to fight the battles CVS brings not knowing what impact the corona virus may have on their lives if they suffer with an episode during this time. This may even be the difference between life and death for some. [/p][p]Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome is a rare, debilitating condition that affects many people’s whole lives. We know little about it’s causes, it is difficult to diagnose, and treatments are seldom effective. [/p][p]Imagine the worst sickness bug you have ever had, getting better for a short while, only to repeat it again and again for the rest of your life. [/p][p]People are suffering daily due to CVS.[/p][p]Whilst CVS warriors are doing their best to keep up the good fight, awareness of the condition is limited, which often leads to misdiagnosis and judgement imparted on the sufferer. [/p][p]When I learned about CVS and heard from the individuals that face this horror my heart was broken and I felt compelled to do something. This is why I plan to do a tandem skydive on Good Friday (10/4/20) to raise both funds for research and general awareness of the condition.
