My story

[p]Alzheimer's Society is the only UK charity that campaigns for change, funds research to find a cure and supports people living with dementia today.[/p][p]Dementia is the UK's biggest killer. Someone develops it every three minutes and there's currently no cure.[/p][p]We know it is scary facing up to it, but we must confront the biggest health and social care challenge of our time.[/p][p]Thanks to your support, Alzheimer's Society is facing dementia head on. Inspired by your voices, we're leading the way in support, society and research.[/p][p]As the largest and most influential dementia charity in the UK, we are calling on everyone to unite. Working together we know we will achieve our vision - a world without dementia.[/p][p]Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor WES Charity Ride, and donations will be quickly processed and passed to Alzheimer's Society.[/p][p]Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.[/p][p]Thank you for taking the time to read this page. Please donate to this fantastic cause! I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p][p]The Alzheimer's Society is the charity that will benefit from this years WES Nationals Charity Pleasure Class and as their colour is Blue and their Logo is the Forget Me Not, riders can use either or both as their inspiration for Fancy Dress. The charities we have supported in the past have benefited greatly from the WES members who have taken part many of them getting their own sponsors and together with the entry fees and the bucket collection over the years we have raised over £12,000 ,The entry fees, bucket collection and individual sponsorships will this year all go to The Alzheimer's Society. here are some Pics from past rides[/p]
