My story

[p]Our Walkers are:[/p][p]Tracy Shorter[/p][p]“I am always ready to support charities. I did the legal walk last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. The weather was beautiful and the walk around Cambridge was very picturesque. I can’t wait to do it again and raise more money for such a worthy cause.”[/p][p]Ryan Cotton[/p][p]“I am walking as it is great opportunity to show support for a charity doing really important work.”[/p][p]Monty Bouttell[/p][p]“I can’t resist an opportunity like this to raise money for a very important cause.”[/p][p]Sophie Giddings[/p][p]“I like walking and it’s for a great cause.”[/p][p]Sam Onwueyi[/p][p]“Because it is my social responsibility to support the less privileged, especially with legal issues.”[/p][p]Charlotte Waters[/p][p]“I’m participating in the Cambridge Legal Walk again this year as I am passionate about those in need receiving the legal advice they deserve.” [/p][p]Karl Tomkinson[/p][p]“It’s a great chance to give back to the community while also getting a good source of exercise.”[/p][p]Sophie Francis[/p][p]“I’m taking part because it’s a great cause, and will provide an amazing opportunity to network and fundraise with the company.” [/p][p]Rosaline Mills[/p][p]“I am walking in the Cambridge Legal Walk to support and raise money for The Eastern Legal Support Trust which helps those who are unable to afford legal services by giving them access to legal advice and guidance.”[/p][p]Sam Haigh[/p][p]“I am taking part in the legal walk this year as it is for a fantastic cause and a great way to raise money for the people who really need it.[/p][p]This is my second year in a row taking part and think it really connects people in the area involved in law whilst giving something back.”[/p][p]Chris Ewles[/p][p]“I’m taking part because of the great cause, it brings the company together, and is a well-run event.”[/p][p]Rachel Moseley[/p][p]“I am walking because these charities help provide a lifeline to vulnerable people in society who without their support would have to face their legal troubles alone.”[/p][p]Additionally, I believe that everyone in society should have equal access to justice and this unfortunately, is just not the case.”[/p][p]Ricardo Dacosta[/p][p]“I’m taking part because it’s a great opportunity to network with our clients and all the money raised goes to a fantastic cause!”[/p][p]Vladimir Yordanov[/p][p]“Because our support matters. We shouldn’t leave people in need to walk alone.”[/p][p]Charlie Bailey[/p][p]“Having benefited myself from the work done by charities, I feel like it is my duty to give something back. This event will also provide a great opportunity to network and meet like-minded people.”[/p][p]Simon Shorter[/p][p]“I am taking part in the Cambridge Legal walk this year to support The Eastern Legal Support Trust and raise money and awareness so that members of the public who would otherwise be disadvantaged can still receive free legal advice, as well as a chance to network with fellow legal professionals.”[/p][p]Kathleen Croskell[/p][p]“Not only was it so much fun last year, it was great to mix with other law firms and get to know the other companies in the area. And of course, it’s for an amazing cause.”[/p][p]Jade Jupp[/p][p]“To enjoy the team atmosphere of taking part in something together and to do something for charity as a company.”[/p][p]Maria Delimata[/p][p]“Since I moved to the UK I have used free legal advice services several times. It was extremely useful. Therefore, I really know how important it is to have a chance to ask for an advice when you desperately need to.”[/p][p][br][/p][p]We are proud to take part in the Cambridge Legal Walk 2019 and raise money for the ELST which funds local advice services.[/p][p]Advice agencies do a fantastic job in preventing homelessness, resolving debt problems, gaining care for the elderly and disabled and fighting exploitation for some of the most vulnerable people in our society.[/p][p]The money we raise will help keep the agencies operating and try to ensure their services are as effective as possible.[/p][p]Please support our walkers as generously as you are able.[/p]
