My story
[p]Dear Friend, [/p][p]Thanks for taking time out and hopefully giving a few pennies to my Virgin Money Page it really means a lot to know that we are making a difference.[/p][p]I decided to make Societi, the UK Foundation for Kawasaki Disease my presidential charity of the year as my step daughter Emily was diagnosed with Kawasaki Disease 8 years ago, Emily was the first recorded case of Kawasaki Disease in 30 years at hospital she attended. It was nearly misdiagnosed and then treated late as no one had ever heard of it.[/p][p]Working with Societi our aim for this year is to increase awareness and promote early diagnosis and treatment.[/p][p]Yours in Friendship [/p][p][br][/p][p]Lindsay x[/p]
