My story

[p]So it's really happening, 2019 will be the year I take part in the London Marathon eeecckkk!!![/p][p]Since being a child I have watched the London Marathon on the T.V and made it my goal that one day I would take part. I am a keen runner. I regularly take part in my local Park Run and have run in many 10k races. This year I have managed to get a couple of half marathons under my belt, however a full marathon is on another level and will be a huge challenge and a massive achievement for me.[/p][p]I will be running for the Scoliosis Campaign Fund. Scoliosis is where the spine twists and curves to the side. It can affect people of any age, from babies to adults, but most often starts in children aged between 10 and 15.[/p][p]Scoliosis is something that has touched my family. My nephew Toby was diagnosed with Scoliosis earlier this year. He will need several operations and lots of rehabilitation to help untwist and straighten his spine. Our Tobes is a kind and loving chappy at the very impressionable age of 13. He is going to find the path ahead tough.[/p][p]I am running for Toby, I am running to raise the awareness of scoliosis, I am running to raise the much needed funds for this wonderful charity.[/p][p][br][/p]
