My story

[p]Toilet poverty really is a matter of life and death. [/p][p]As the world has struggled to cope with the Covid19 pandemic and we have witnessed heroic efforts by medical staff and scientists to care for those who are ill and to create effective vaccines to protect us in the future... it is still shocking that 2 billion people on our planet don't have somewhere safe to go to the toilet. [/p][p]Without proper toilets and clean water, people are trapped in a vicious cycle of sickness, poverty and danger [/p][p]Almost 900 children die every day from diseases linked to dirty water and unsafe toilets. These deaths are completely preventable.[/p][p]Toilet twinning works with communities to educate and help communities to build toilets and have access to clean water and in doing so restores dignity, hope and opportunities to some of the most vulnerable people on our planet.[/p][p]Like lots of people, a year ago, I sang Happy Birthday as I washed my hands. By you donating, and me walking, we can give the gift of a clean loo and change countless lives.[/p]
