Shaving my hair off

[p]Hello, I am Lizzie![/p][p]I am a member of Liskeard and Looe Ladies Circle. I have also recently been diagnosed with a heart condition called Sinus Node Dysfunction which causes irregular heart rhythms- in my case Bradycardia- a slow heart rate of 37-45 bpm, which will require a pacemaker in the future. [/p][p]This year our President's Charity is Societi- The UK Foundation for Kawasaki Disease. Kawasaki Disease is the leading cause of acquired heart disease in children. It is often mistaken for other childhood illnesses, leading to delayed treatment. Children who are left untreated or treated later often face significantly higher risks of developing serious heart damage.[/p][p]As I am unable to take part in any fundraising challenges requiring stamina or heights I have decided to raise money by losing something personal to me- my hair!![/p][p]I have long, thick hair past my shoulders. [/p][p]I want to raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity and help them to raise awareness of the disease.[/p][p]Due to the National Conference in May being cancelled I will be getting my hair shaved off this September instead.[/p][p]I will donate my locks to The Little Princess Trust to make wigs for poorly children.[/p][p][br][/p]
