Team story

[p]Hi, thanks for visiting my page.[/p][p]For those of you who know me it will come as quite a shock that I am volunteering to complete a 31-mile cycle ride for charity. Not because of any reluctance to support such a worthy cause but because "I was never built for speed"![/p][p]In February 2017 I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes and to combat the disease without medication I have lost over 4 stones in weight and now exercise several times each week. Therefore I'll be riding my ElliptiGO over the 31-mile course from Bishops Stortford to Victoria Park, London on 21st September. The ElliptiGO does not have a seat and the pedalling motion is like a cross-trainer in a gym. It requires 2-3 times the energy of a normal road bike and is significantly heavier too. So far I have managed to ride for an hour covering around 12 miles. Clearly I have some training to do![/p][p]Please help me to smash my target and support the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity. On thier behalf I would like to sincerely thank you for your generosity.[/p][p]Best wishes, Paul.[/p][p]Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to the Rainbow Trust. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.[/p]
