My story

[p]Hi, thanks for visiting my page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to The Anders Foundation.[/p][p]The Trust has funded many projects which I have had the priviledge of being involved in as disability badminton coach at Wimbledon Racquets & Fitness Club.  The Charity has funded the following: facilitating coached sessions at the club and at Oak Lodge school for the Deaf (Balham) for their pupils.  The purchase of two sports wheelchairs and allowing me to go out into the community to promote wheelchair badminton, the purchase of much needed adapted equipment to help our disabled badminton players.  This year the club hosted it's first county parabadminton tournament which The Anders Foundation sponsered.  With the exciting news of parabadminton being included in the Tokyo 2020 paralympic games the charity together with "Cares for Kids"  has funded the set up of Talent Spotting sessions aimed at youngsters 8-18yrs providing intensive coaching for talented players from a team of highly experienced coaches.[/p][p]In the wider field they have provided wheelchairs for some of England's top flight players together with facilitating elite coaching from performance coaches.[/p][p]I feel very honoured to be running in the London Marathon 2016 in aid of The Anders Foundation and being allowed to give something back to a very worthwhile charity that cares so much about disadvantaged and/or disabled youngsters and adults helping them to express themselves through sport and to be the very best they can be.[/p][p]For more information about The Anders Foundation and the projects they help, please click on the logo and then go to their website [span=background-color: #ffff00;]www.andersfoundation.org[/span][/p][p]Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p]
